Honda Unveils Two New EV SUVs, E:NS2 and E:NP2
New Delhi: Honda is set to launch two new electric SUVs, the E:NS2 and the e:NP2, in select international markets, as revealed by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. These EV SUVs manufactured by Dongfeng and GAC showcase distinctive designs with variations in lighting and bumpers.
The E:NS2 features angular LED daytime running lamps reminiscent of Peugeot cars, while the E:NP2 adopts the same design as new Honda models such as the latest Civic. Both models have a similar design element with wide horizontal stripes on the front and rear bumpers, giving a modern aesthetic.
Under the hood, both the E:NS2 and E:NP2 are equipped with a single motor generating 204hp from a 68.8kWh battery. Specifications reflect the same dimensions, including a wheelbase of 2,735 mm, width of 1,840 mm and height of 1,570 mm. Overall length of the models varies slightly, with the E:NP2 being slightly longer.
Although there is no confirmation regarding the availability of these models in India, Honda’s ACE (Asian Compact Electric) project is in progress in the country. The project is expected to produce an electric vehicle based on the Elevate concept, which could be launched in India in 2026.
The introduction of these new EV SUVs reflects Honda’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup and participating in the global shift towards sustainable mobility.
