New Delhi: Gone are the days when one could find numerous cars priced below Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The current scenario reveals a significant shift as cars have seen a surge in prices due to escalating input costs. However, amidst these changes, three vehicles still manage to stay within the affordable range. These models include the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, and the Renault Kwid. It’s worth mentioning that not all variants of these cars fall below the Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. The increasing expenses associated with passenger vehicles (PVs) have indeed contributed to their escalated prices. Let’s explore more about these comparatively economical options.
