New Delhi: Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones, the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip, later this year. A recent leak sheds light on the camera specs of these devices, revealing a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a telephoto sensor. Both models are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
According to reports , the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip are slated for release in the third quarter of this year, aligning with previous launch patterns. These smartphones are anticipated to boast a lightweight design and share similar camera setups.
Reportedly, both devices will sport a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside an Omnivision OV60A 2x telephoto sensor. The Mix Fold 4 is rumored to include an additional 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering 5x zoom. Additionally, it may feature IP rating and wireless charging support.
While the Mix Fold 4 is expected to be exclusive to the Chinese market, the Mix Flip is anticipated to launch globally, except in India and Japan.
In terms of battery, the Mix Fold 4 is said to house a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. On the other hand, the Mix Flip is likely to feature a main display with a 1.5K resolution.
