Women’s Asia Cup 2024: Complete Schedule, Match Timings, and Venues

New Delhi: The Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian team will commence their title defense at the Women’s Asia Cup with an exciting match against Pakistan on July 19.

This year’s tournament will be played in the T20 format and will run until July 26. Sri Lanka has been granted the hosting rights for this edition of the Women’s Asia Cup. They finished as runners-up last time after losing the final to India. The Women’s Asia Cup 2024 will feature eight teams, divided into two groups of four each.

Seven-time champions India are placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, Nepal, and the UAE. Group B includes hosts Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Malaysia. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for July 26. The final will be held in Dambulla on July 28.

The tournament’s opening match will see Nepal facing the UAE, with the India vs. Pakistan game scheduled for later the same day. Hosts Sri Lanka will begin their campaign against Bangladesh on July 20.
