CEO of Parsvnath Landmark Apprehended at Delhi Airport

New Delhi: Sanjeev Jain, CEO of Parsvnath Landmark Developers, a subsidiary of Parsvnath Developers, was arrested after a dramatic 60-kilometer chase by Delhi police. Jain, who resides in DLF Phase-2, Gurugram, was apprehended at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport by the Delhi Police Special Task Force Shahdara team.

The arrest came on the back of several non-bailable warrants issued against Jain. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Choudhary, these warrants were due to Jain’s failure to appear before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC). The legal action was initiated following a complaint filed by Rajat Babbar, which led to four non-bailable and one bailable warrant being issued.

Jain’s arrest follows a significant chase, highlighting the seriousness of the charges he faces. The warrants had been pending at the Shahdara police station, reflecting ongoing legal concerns. Jain was presented before the NCDRC on Sunday following his capture.

This arrest represents a critical turn in the legal issues surrounding Jain, underscoring the need for compliance with judicial procedures. The swift response by the Delhi Police STF emphasizes their role in enforcing the law and ensuring accountability in high-profile financial and consumer cases. The case continues to draw attention, reflecting the broader implications of legal and corporate governance in India.
