Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address this large gathering next month at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The event, titled ‘Modi & US: Progress Together,’ is set for September 22 and will take place at a venue that can accommodate 15,000 attendees.

The Indo-American Community of USA (IACU), the event’s organizer, announced on Tuesday that the number of registrations has far surpassed initial expectations. The exceptional interest underscores the strong support and enthusiasm for Prime Minister Modi among the Indian-American community.

Due to the high number of registrants, the organizers are anticipated to make additional arrangements to manage the overflow or accommodate the large crowd. This event is poised to be a landmark occasion, reflecting the deep ties between the Indian diaspora in the United States and India.

‘Modi & US: Progress Together’ aims to celebrate the significant contributions of the Indian-American community to American society while reinforcing the bilateral relationship between the two nations. Prime Minister Modi’s address is expected to cover various topics, including advancements in India-U.S. relations and the role of the diaspora in enhancing this partnership.

As the event date approaches, excitement is palpable among Indian-Americans, who are looking forward to the opportunity to hear from Prime Minister Modi in person and engage in discussions about the future of India-U.S. relations.
