Hyderabad, India – BASF India has launched two of its latest global crop protection solutions, Valexio^® Insecticide and Mibelya^® Fungicide, that will serve India’s most important food crop – rice. The introduction of these two innovations will support India’s national food security agenda. These solutions will help rice growers boost their rice yields as they help manage rice hoppers, a key rice pest, and control diseases such as sheath blight control.

With annual production of more than 100 million metric tons, India is the second-largest producer of rice in the world, contributing significantly to around 40 percent of global rice trade. The impact of climate change has affected rice growers in India badly, with erratic weather condition resulting in droughts, diseases, and the proliferation of hoppers that results in lower and poorer quality yields.

The presence of a dedicated breast cancer awareness bus, equipped with mammography machines, has been a game-changer in early detection, particularly among women from rural areas who have limited access to specialized healthcare. Such initiatives play a crucial role in breaking myths surrounding cancer and encouraging early diagnosis and timely intervention.

Khushi Kapoor, who exudes elegance and effortless charm, shares, “Ibrahim and I had the best time bringing ‘Ishq Mein’ to life, and it is one of my favourite tracks from the Nadaaniyan album. It makes you want to dream, to feel, to get lost in its rhythm. We hope audiences feel the same magic.”

Music composer duo Sachin-Jigar expressed, “We wanted Ishq Mein to have an eternal, all-consuming love vibe—something that stays with listeners long after they hear it. Amitabh Bhattacharya’s words, paired with the incredible voices of Sachet, Asees, and our own rendition, brought this vision to life.”

Nadaaniyan gears up to unfold its story of love and take audiences on a whirlwind of emotions, and promises to be the perfect blend of mischief, self-discovery, and heart-fluttering romance. The film will be releasing worldwide on Netflix is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment.

With A.R. Rahman and Vaishali Samant lending their vocals and Irshad Kamil and Kshitij’s evocative lyrics, Aaya Re Toofan’ is infused with Marathi folk elements, traditional instruments, and the  rhythm of Lezim. The song depicts the grandeur of  the coronation of a warrior king whose legacy is etched in fire and steel. Shot on a colossal scale with an intensity that crackles through the screen, the song was serendipitously filmed on the same date as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s actual coronation.

A.R. Rahman said “Aaya Re Toofan’ is an invocation of an era; it’s a resounding tribute to the unyielding spirit of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. When I set out to compose this song, the idea was to bring forth the Maratha roar in its grandest, most electrifying form, one that echoes in the soul. Every beat, every note, every war cry in this composition is meant to stir something primal, powerful and celebratory — I’m delighted that this.

It had to sound like war and roar like Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj himself was riding into battle.”

With the brilliant A. R. Rahman composing the music, the film is a celebration of storytelling brilliance. The charismatic Vicky Kaushal stars as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the lion, portraying the legendary leader’s unmatched courage and resolve. Opposite him, the intense Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of the formidable Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb, setting the stage for an epic clash of rulers. Adding grace and strength to the story is the versatile Rashmika Mandanna, who brings to life Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale, the Queen of Swarajya and Chhatrapati’s queen, embodying elegance and resilience. Music of the film is presented by Sony Music Entertainment India.
