New Delhi: A bomb threat on an Air India flight from Mumbai led to a full-scale emergency being declared at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Thursday morning. The incident sparked immediate concern and mobilized a swift response from airport authorities.

The Air India flight, which landed at Thiruvananthapuram at approximately 8:00 AM, was swiftly moved to an isolation bay after the bomb threat was received. This precautionary measure was taken to ensure the safety of other aircraft and passengers within the airport premises.

Airport security teams, in coordination with bomb disposal squads, quickly took control of the situation. Passengers aboard the flight were evacuated as a safety measure. Reports indicate that the evacuation was carried out smoothly, with no signs of panic or injuries among those on board. The process was managed efficiently to maintain calm and order.

Authorities are now conducting detailed inspections of the aircraft and surrounding areas to determine the legitimacy of the threat. Despite the serious nature of the incident, officials have maintained that the situation is under control, with additional security protocols implemented across the airport.

The bomb threat has caused some operational disruptions at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, including delays and rerouting of certain flights. Nevertheless, airport officials have reassured passengers that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure their safety and minimize inconvenience.

The investigation into the bomb threat is ongoing, with further updates expected as authorities work to resolve the situation.
