In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk said that the car’s specifications have been significantly enhanced, ensuring that “there will never be another car like it.” This bold claim suggests that the Tesla Roadster will set new standards in terms of acceleration and performance.

Initial specifications revealed during the car’s unveiling in 2017 indicated a 0-96 km/h acceleration of 1.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest-accelerating production cars at the time. Additionally, it has a top speed of over 400 kmph and an impressive range of around 998 km.

However, Musk’s recent announcement suggests even more astonishing performance capabilities, with the Roadster expected to achieve a 0-96kph sprint in less than 1.0 seconds. This will make it significantly faster than the current record holder Rimac Nevera, which claims to do 0-100 kmph in 1.95 seconds.
