New Delhi: Realme is gearing up to reintroduce its flagship Realme GT series in India. Sky Li, the founder and CEO of Realme, hinted at the return of the GT series to the Indian market through a post on X. This latest addition will target the mid-premium segment in the country. While details about the upcoming phones are yet to be revealed, Realme is confirmed to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in China on May 9, joining the previously released Realme GT Neo 6 SE in April.
On Tuesday, May 7, Sky Li confirmed the return of the Realme GT series to India as part of the brand’s sixth-anniversary celebrations. The focus will be on the mid-premium market segment, although specific information regarding the moniker or specifications of the smartphones remains undisclosed. However, it’s anticipated that the new lineup will offer flagship features.
While the exact model remains under wraps, speculation suggests that the Realme GT 6 will make its debut soon. In the Indian market, Realme currently offers the GT Neo 3 and GT 2 Pro.
Simultaneously, Realme is set to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in China on May 9, powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. This model is teased to feature an 8T LTPO display, IP65-rated build, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The Realme GT Neo 6 SE, launched in China in April, comes with a price tag of CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and features an 8T LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 6,000 nits peak brightness. Additionally, it boasts a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.
