Sanjay Dutt Addresses UK Visa Issue and Dropping from ‘Son of Sardaar 2’

New Delhi: Actor Sanjay Dutt has voiced his discontent after being dropped from the highly anticipated film Son of Sardaar 2 due to the sudden cancellation of his UK visa. Originally granted the visa, Sanjay was later informed that it had been revoked, a decision he criticized as unjust. The actor expressed his confusion over the delay between the visa’s initial approval and its subsequent rejection.

In a recent interview, Sanjay Dutt shared his frustration with the UK government’s handling of the situation. “The UK government did not do the right thing. They granted me the visa, all the necessary payments were made, and everything was prepared for my visit. Then, a month later, they decided to cancel my visa. I had submitted all required documents, so why was the visa issued in the first place? It’s baffling that it took them a month to reassess the situation and enforce the laws,” he remarked, highlighting the inconvenience and disruption caused by the decision.

Although disappointed, Sanjay also downplayed the significance of not being able to travel to the UK, especially considering the current unrest in the country. “Who even wants to go to the UK right now? With so many riots happening, the Indian government has even advised against traveling there. While the situation is frustrating, I don’t feel like I’m missing out. However, they have made a mistake, and it should be corrected. I respect every country’s law and expect the same in return,” he added.

In the wake of the visa issue, actor Ravi Kishan has stepped in to replace Sanjay Dutt in Son of Sardaar 2. When asked about the possibility of a special appearance in the film, Sanjay expressed uncertainty, indicating that his involvement remains unclear.
