Yara India Launches YaraAmplix™ Optimaris, Its First Yara-owned Biostimulant to Drive Sustainable Food Production
Seaweed-based biostimulant designed to help farmers combat the effects of climate change, build crop resilience, improve nutrient use efficiency and support fruit development; commercial rollout begins in Maharashtra
Maharashtra, November 04, 2026: Yara India, the world’s leading fertilizer company and provider of environmental solutions, today launched YaraAmplix™ Optimaris, its first own biostimulant under the global YaraAmplix powerbrand in India. The launch took place at a channel partner meet in Pune, attended by over 50 agri-input retailers and dealers from across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat along with Yara India’s leadership team.
YaraAmplix is Yara’s global biostimulant brand designed with over 50 years of formulation knowledge and over 10 years of R&D in Biostimulants, to enhance crop resilience, nutrient uptake, and overall crop quality while promoting healthier soils and better adaptability to environmental stress. YaraAmplix is distinguished by its unique formulation process and incorporating natural ingredients such as seaweed and plant extracts that are carefully sourced and extensively tested. The portfolio complements Yara’s offerings and supports regenerative agriculture, with focus on climate resilience, soil health and efficient resource use.
YaraAmplix Optimaris is a liquid foliar formulation based on bioactive components extracted from the alga Ascophyllum nodosum. It targets plant growth, more and finest sized fruits and mitigates the effect of abiotic stress conditions by priming the plant in advance. The product is suitable for organic agriculture and has European CE marking certification.
