Salesforce Run 2025 Kicks Off in Gurgaon
Salesforce pledges INR 4 crore to support Child Education and Greenification through
partnerships with Meghshala Trust, Wadhwani AI, WRI India, and Climate Collective Foundation.
Gurgaon, India – October 24, 2025: Salesforce, the world’s #1 AI CRM*, today flagged off the
Gurgaon edition of the Salesforce Run, Salesforce India’s flagship annual community run. The
event, now in its third year, will be held across all the six locations in India and for the first time
in Singapore. The run will bring together Trailblazers – including Salesforce employees,
Futureforce interns, customers, and partners – to promote physical and mental wellbeing while
raising funds to support child education and greenification initiatives.
This year, Salesforce has pledged INR 4 crore, doubling last year’s contribution, to create
meaningful impact in collaboration with four NGO partners. Meghshala Trust and Wadhwani AI
will help bring digital classrooms to 12,000 students across India, while WRI India and Climate
Collective Foundation will support climate tech entrepreneurs in South Asia and contribute to
planting 50,000 trees.

As part of Salesforce Run 2025, employees from all cities were encouraged to participate in
fitness challenges and log their daily runs ahead of the main events. Till date, employees have
logged over 4.4 lakh kilometers of pre-run activities.
Speaking about the event, Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO, Salesforce – South
Asia, remarked, “The Salesforce Run is our culture in motion. It’s where community,
collaboration, and a shared ambition to give back come alive, proving our core belief that
business is the greatest platform for change. Seeing that incredible energy is a powerful
reminder that our collective steps create real, tangible impact. This event perfectly embodies the
Salesforce spirit, defining the difference we can make together in the communities we serve.”
Jyoti Thyagarajan, Founder and Managing Trustee, Meghshala Trust, commented, “At
Meghshala, we bring learning to life with teachers, who then enthusiastically apply our lessons
in their classrooms. To ensure even the most remote teachers can access our lessons, we use
engaging, app-based technology that empowers them to deliver better learning experiences in
their schools. Through our partnership with Salesforce, we are delighted to bring digital
classrooms to students across India, helping them access quality education. Participating in this
initiative and celebrating the collaboration that transforms education for underserved
communities is our way of giving back to the bright-eyed children we serve.”

Madhav Pai, CEO, WRI India, commented, “Our work focuses on improving people’s lives,
protecting and restoring nature, and addressing climate change. The engagement and
enthusiasm from the Salesforce community is truly encouraging. Collaborations like this
empower innovative solutions and sustainable practices, and it’s inspiring to see such collective
energy directed toward building a greener future. We are delighted to be part of this initiative
and the tangible impact it creates for communities and the planet.”
