Cleanliness Drive on Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti at River Heights Society
Ghaziabad, October 2: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, River Heights Society in Rajnagar Extension organized a cleanliness drive for the first time under the banner of the Apartment Owners Association (AOA). Residents and senior citizens actively took part in shramdaan (voluntary work) to spread the message of cleanliness. They also discussed the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi and Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri’s values in today’s times.
During the event, the society’s housekeeping staff, gardeners, and maintenance team were honored with flowers for their contribution in keeping the premises clean and disciplined. Residents also carried out cleaning work in Phase-2 backside, the plot area, and around Gate No. 1. Senior citizens were also felicitated and their blessings were sought.

The campaign was led by AOA President Mr. Gaurav Vermani, Vice President Mr. Omprakash Nirwan, Joint Secretary Mr. Anukesh Sharma, Members Mr. Rajeev Garg, Mr. Shekhar Anand, Mr. Vinkit Rawal, Treasurer Mr. Alok Sharma, and Joint Treasurer Mr. Jitendra Gautam.
Several residents including Mr. Arun Pandey, Mr. Prakhar Saxena, Mr. Love Malhotra, Mr. Pinku, Mr. Gaurang, Mr. Ajay Sharma, Mr. Satish, Mr. Bhaskar, Mr. S.K. Singh, Mr. Sujit, Mr. Ravi Thapliyal, Mr. Shalabh, Mr. J.K. Tyagi, Dr. Arun Chauhan, Mr. Nitin Sharma, Mr. Nikhil Sharma, Mr. Ajit Sinha, Mr. Anshul Tyagi, Mr. Jai Singh, Mr. Gaurav Sisodia and many others enthusiastically participated, pledging to keep the society clean and beautiful.
From the senior residents’ side, Mr. Jagmohan, Mr. Garg, Mr. Mittal and others were honored with flowers for their guidance and contribution.
The AOA team expressed heartfelt gratitude to all residents and senior citizens for their active support, which made this cleanliness drive a grand success.
