New Delhi: It’s been three years since Skoda introduced the Kushaq SUV to the market. With the vehicle now due for a mid-lifecycle makeover, Skoda is set to update the Kushaq with a thorough exterior refresh and new features. Despite keeping the Kushaq up-to-date with new features and special editions, the facelift will bring significant changes when it arrives by August 2025.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift Exterior Updates

According to sources, the Kushaq facelift will adopt a connected lighting theme for both its headlamps and tail lamps. This design trend is becoming common across all car segments. The headlamps are expected to be connected at the grille, which will also be larger. The connected tail lamps at the rear could resemble those of the new Kodiaq, giving the Kushaq a family look. Additionally, the Kushaq will benefit from a new Olive Green exterior paint shade. Other updates might include redesigned front and rear bumpers and a new set of alloy wheels.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift Interior and Features

Although specific details of the interior cosmetic updates are not yet available, new trim and upholstery elements along with new colors are expected to be part of the mix. The Kushaq will also see an upgrade in its equipment list with the inclusion of an ADAS suite. Currently, the Kushaq is well-equipped with features like a digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, and six airbags. However, it remains to be seen if a panoramic sunroof will be included in the facelift.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift Powertrain Options

The Kushaq facelift will remain mechanically unchanged from the current model. It will continue with the 115hp, 178Nm 1.0-litre TSI engine and the 150hp, 250Nm 1.5-litre TSI engine. Both engines will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 1.0-litre TSI will continue with its 6-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.5-litre TSI will maintain its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In summary, the Skoda Kushaq facelift will bring notable exterior updates and additional features while retaining its robust mechanical setup. Stay tuned for the official launch in August 2025.
