Former Union Minister Vijay Sampla to Lead Global “Namaste Summit India” Campaign
New Delhi: Summit India Trust is set to launch a global campaign to bolster India’s presence in several countries, with former Union Minister and former Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Vijay Sampla, at the helm. BJP’s former National Vice President and Summit Chairman Shyam Jaju, along with the organization’s General Secretary Mahesh Verma, announced Sampla’s appointment today. The campaign will kick off with the “Namaste Nepal” event in Nepal.
This initiative aims to promote Indian culture and civilization among people of Indian origin worldwide, highlighting India’s leading role in various fields. Events will be held in countries including Nepal, Vietnam, Luxembourg, Singapore, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, multiple European nations, the UK, the USA, and more.
Under this campaign, chairpersons for Summit India’s chapters have been appointed in various countries to oversee the activities. Vijay Sampla will lead the campaign as the International President. The primary goal is to enhance India’s global stature as a “Vishwaguru” (world teacher) and promote India’s education policy, yoga, Ayurveda, Panchakarma, arts, health, skills, and more. The campaign will also encourage destination weddings in India, showcasing the country’s natural beauty to the global community, fostering economic cooperation between countries.
The campaign will also highlight India’s advancements in technology, especially in medicine, IT, research and development, and services, through camps that will inform local populations about India’s progress. This initiative aims to leverage India’s skilled workforce for significant growth and provide information about these skills to people in other countries. The campaign will engage with potential investors who have been hesitant for various reasons, inviting them to invest in India. “Namaste Summit India” begins with Nepal and will expand to Luxembourg, Singapore, Kenya, Tanzania, Canada, the USA, the UK, the UAE, Mauritius, and several African countries.
