New Delhi: According to recent reports, the iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition is rumoured to launch in April. This upcoming variant is expected to join the iQoo Neo 9 lineup, which was introduced in China in December 2023. While official details about the racing edition are still awaited, a reliable tipster has provided information about some of its key features.
According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition may feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate. This display technology is expected to contribute to better power efficiency, thereby increasing battery life.
Furthermore, it is speculated that the iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition may be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, codenamed SM8635. This chipset is also rumoured to be featured in the Realme GT Neo 6, raising expectations regarding the performance capabilities of the upcoming iQoo device.
In terms of imaging, the Racing Edition may sport a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultrawide lens. These specifications are the same as the base iQoo Neo 9 model.
