New Delhi: Motorola has officially launched its latest budget smartphone, the Moto G24 Power, in India, with prices starting at ₹8,999. This affordable device is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and runs on the company’s custom Android 14 operating system, complemented by the My UX skin.
The Moto G24 Power is available in two variants. The base model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at ₹8,999, while the higher-end variant, featuring 8GB of RAM and the same 128GB of storage, is priced at ₹9,999. Consumers can choose between two color options, Glacier Blue and Ink Blue. The smartphone will go on sale starting from February 7, and will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and select retail stores.
Motorola is also offering an enticing exchange bonus of ₹750 for customers trading in their old devices, effectively reducing the price of the base variant to ₹8,249.
Driving the Moto G24 Power is the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, coupled with the Mali G-52 MP2 GPU for efficient handling of graphics-intensive tasks. Users have the option to select either 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and both variants offer a generous 128GB of onboard storage.
Featuring a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, the Moto G24 Power delivers a smooth user experience with its support for a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 537 nits. The smartphone’s front display incorporates a punch-hole notch design, while its IP52 rating ensures a water-repellent build, offering added durability and protection.
In the camera department, the Moto G24 Power comes with a dual-camera setup at the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP sensor dedicated to Macro shots. Additionally, the device houses a 16MP front-facing sensor to fulfill all your selfie and video call needs.
