New Delhi: Manasi Parekh is basking in the glory of her recent triumph at the 70th National Film Awards, where she was honored with the Best Actress award for her role in the Gujarati film Kutch Express. The news came as a delightful surprise to Manasi, who was busy on the set of her upcoming project when she received a congratulatory message from director Anand Tiwari. “I was in the middle of shooting when I got a message from Anand Tiwari that said, ‘Congratulations on the National Award.’ I was in complete shock! I couldn’t believe it,” the actress excitedly recalls.
Having spent over two decades in the entertainment industry, Manasi sees this accolade as a powerful affirmation of her dedication and resilience. “This award is a testament to all the hard work and passion I’ve put into my career. It feels like everything I’ve worked for has finally come to fruition,” she reflects. The win is particularly special as it also recognizes the effort she and her husband invested in producing Kutch Express. “My husband and I put our hearts into this project, and this recognition makes it all the more rewarding. It motivates me to keep pushing boundaries in both acting and production,” Manasi says.
Manasi is optimistic about what this recognition means for her future endeavors. “This award not only boosts my credibility but also opens doors for bigger opportunities. It reassures producers and investors that I’m serious about my craft and capable of delivering quality work,” she explains.

This award is a reminder to all working mothers that it’s possible to achieve your dreams, no matter how challenging the journey,” she concludes, beaming with pride.
