Mercedes-Benz Shatters Sales Records in India with Unrivaled Product Appeal
Pune: Mercedes-Benz, the renowned luxury car manufacturer in India, revealed a robust market strategy centered around new product launches, enhancing their dealership network, venturing into emerging markets, and maintaining a sharp focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This strategy, dubbed ‘Desire to Exceed’, garnered significant customer confidence, leading to Mercedes-Benz achieving its highest-ever monthly, quarterly, and annual sales figures in its 30-year history in India.
In the first quarter of 2024 (January to March), Mercedes-Benz delivered a record-breaking 5412 new vehicles to customers, marking a notable 15% year-on-year sales growth compared to the same period in 2023 when 4697 units were sold. The company’s fiscal year 2023-24 also witnessed unprecedented success, with a total of 18,123 units sold—a remarkable 10% increase from the previous fiscal year (2022-23) when 16,497 units were sold.
March 2024 stands out as a pivotal month for Mercedes-Benz, achieving its highest monthly sales ever recorded in India. This triple achievement—highest monthly sales, best-ever quarterly performance, and record fiscal year sales—was driven by strong customer preference for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, supported by an appealing product lineup, exceptional ownership experiences, and innovative personalized financing solutions.
