New Delhi: Motorola is poised to unveil two smartphones in India this April. While the company has officially confirmed the arrival of the Edge 50 Pro, there are strong indications that the Edge 50 Fusion will also debut alongside it. Unlike last year’s absence of the Edge 40 Pro in India, this year promises not only the vibrant Pantone-colored Edge 50 Pro but also the anticipated Edge 50 Fusion, expected to offer a slightly scaled-back version of its counterpart.

Recently released images of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion by Android Headlines provide a sneak peek into its design, showcasing similarities with the Edge 50 Pro, albeit with a marginally shorter camera module on the rear. The device sports rounded corners, a generous display, and narrow side bezels, although the top and bottom bezels are slightly thicker due to the curved 6.7-inch pOLED panel, fortified with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Edge 50 Fusion is depicted in three distinct color variants: Ballad Blue, Peacock Pink, and Tidal Teal, each boasting a textured back. Notably, the Ballad Blue edition flaunts a distinctive vegan leather finish, adding a touch of elegance. Moreover, anticipation surrounds the device’s potential IP68 rating, signaling robust water and dust resistance.

Speculation suggests that the Edge 50 Fusion will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, delivering commendable performance as evidenced by recent Geekbench assessments. It’s anticipated to feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, complemented by a substantial 5000mAh battery supporting rapid 68W wired charging.

In terms of photography capabilities, enthusiasts can expect a 50MP primary camera coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the rear, while a 32MP front camera is poised to cater to selfie aficionados.

The Edge 50 Fusion is slated to debut alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, marking a simultaneous release of both devices in the Indian market. Industry speculation hints at a price point around Rs 25,000 for the Edge 50 Fusion, making it an enticing option for consumers seeking compelling features at an affordable price.
