New Delhi : Vivo has recently unveiled the Vivo Y18e on its official website in India, hinting at an imminent launch. While the listing provides a glimpse into the phone’s design and specifications, Vivo has yet to make an official announcement regarding its release date. Positioned as an entry-level device, the Vivo Y18e is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 4GB RAM, a robust 5,000mAh battery, and 64GB of storage. It is set to be offered in two color variants and features a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup.
However, specific details regarding the price and availability of the Vivo Y18e were not disclosed on the company’s India website at the time of writing. The phone is showcased in Gem Green and Space Black color options.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo Y18e runs on Funtouch OS 14.0 based on Android 14 and boasts a 6.56-inch full-HD LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. It is powered by an octa-core 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable up to 8GB via onboard storage and 1TB via microSD card.
The phone’s camera setup comprises a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 0.08-megapixel sensor along with a rear flash. For selfies, there’s a 5-megapixel sensor housed in the waterdrop-style notch display.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. The Vivo Y18e also features an IP54 dust and splash-resistant rating, offering durability in various environments.
With a sizable 5,000mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging, the Vivo Y18e promises extended usage. Measuring 163.63×75.58×8.39mm and weighing 185 grams, it sports a sleek design with a dual ring-like camera module, as showcased in the multiple images provided on the Vivo India website.
