Ola Electric Launches ‘Network Partner Program’ to Accelerate EV Adoption PAN India

Ola Electric launches Network Partner Program

Delhi: Ola Electric, India’s largest pure-play EV company, has launched its ‘Network Partner Program’ to push the electric vehicle (EV) revolution deeper into tier-2 and tier-3 cities. The program aims to accelerate EV adoption and expand Ola’s sales and service network across the country, helping to #EndICEAge.

Ola Electric’s Vision for a Broader EV Network

Scaling the Partner Network Ahead of the Festive Season

Ola Electric has onboarded 625 partners under its Network Partner Program to increase its sales footprint across India. The company plans to increase the number of partners to 1,000 before the upcoming festive season in 2024. This aggressive expansion will bring the total number of sales and service touchpoints across India to approximately 1,800, including Ola’s nearly 800 company-owned stores.

Targeting 10,000 Partners by 2025

By the end of 2025, Ola Electric aims to onboard 10,000 partners through the Network Partner Program. This extensive partner base will significantly strengthen Ola’s presence across urban and rural India, ensuring that customers in smaller towns have access to EV sales and services. The company plans to use this program to push deeper into markets where EV penetration is still low, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Why the Network Partner Program is a Game-Changer

Advantages Over the Traditional Dealership Model

One of the standout features of Ola Electric’s Network Partner Program is that it requires minimal capital investment from partners. Unlike traditional dealership models, which involve heavy investments in infrastructure and inventory, this program can be scaled up much faster. Ola’s Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business model has already proven successful, and the Network Partner Program will further leverage the benefits of this model by making it easier for partners to join and expand their operations.

Expanding EV Penetration and Accelerating Adoption

Ola Electric’s D2C model has already played a pivotal role in driving sustainable business growth. Now, with the Network Partner Program, the company plans to take the EV revolution to the next level. Ola’s Chairman and MD, Bhavish Aggarwal, noted, “The Network Partner Program will amplify the benefits of our D2C network and help expand our EV footprint in both urban and rural markets.”

Through this initiative, Ola Electric will onboard more partners to drive EV adoption while providing a seamless sales and after-sales experience. This move will support the company’s broader mission of ending the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) age and replacing it with electric mobility solutions.

Upcoming Expansion with the Roadster Portfolio

Introducing the Roadster Motorcycle Series

In addition to its existing S1 scooter portfolio, Ola Electric has recently announced the launch of its Roadster motorcycle series. The lineup includes Roadster X (2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh), Roadster (3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, 6 kWh), and Roadster Pro (8 kWh, 16 kWh), with prices starting from INR 74,999, INR 1,04,999, and INR 1,99,999, respectively. These motorcycles will feature several segment-first technologies and performance enhancements, further pushing the boundaries of electric mobility in India.

Expanding Sales and Service for the Roadster Series

The Network Partner Program will play a crucial role in the sales and servicing of the Roadster portfolio. With the increasing number of partners onboard, Ola Electric will be able to deepen EV penetration in the motorcycle segment across India. This will ensure that customers have easy access to the latest electric motorcycles and the necessary service infrastructure.

Paving the Way for an EV Future
