New Delhi: During the recent Poco F6 5G launch event, Poco India hinted at exciting additions to their product portfolio. This move signals the brand’s intent to broaden its presence beyond smartphones in the Indian market.

Poco India head Himanshu Tandon and Brand Marketing Head-AI Varun Nair unveiled plans for upcoming audio products and a tablet. While specific names and launch dates remain under wraps, this announcement indicates Poco’s strategy to create a more comprehensive ecosystem of devices.

While details for the Indian market are yet to be revealed, Poco did showcase the Poco Pad, its first-ever tablet, during the global launch event. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and boasting a long-lasting 10,000mAh battery, the Poco Pad seems like a strong contender for users seeking a powerful and portable tablet experience. The 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.5K display promises stunning visuals, making it ideal for entertainment, gaming, and productivity tasks.

For those who missed it, the Poco F6 5G was the star of the show, marking the debut of the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC in India. This powerhouse smartphone boasts a 1.5K resolution AMOLED display and a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor. A 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging ensures you’ll stay powered throughout the day.

Poco’s current offerings in India primarily consist of smartphones across the X, M, F, and C series. The addition of Poco Pods, launched last year, marked their initial foray into the audio device market. These earphones offer features like Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, Google Fast Pair support, 12mm audio drivers, and IPX4 water resistance, making them a compelling option for budget-conscious users.

With the upcoming launch of new audio products, a tablet, and a potential power bank, Poco is poised to become a one-stop shop for a wider range of consumer electronics needs in India.
