Producer director Vikram Sandhu Reference teaser launch of “Sarkari Katl-e-Aam 1984” on 84 riots

New Delhi: Even today people get scared remembering the incident of 1984 which is called the year of oppression, atrocities and destruction for the Sikhs. Lakhs of Sikhs suffered a pain which can never be forgotten.

Producer-director Vikram Sandhu, who belongs to the Sikh community, has mustered the courage to present the same pain on the big screen.

The reference teaser of Vikram Sandhu’s film “Sarkari Katl-e-Aam 1984” was launched on the wall of truth of Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib located on Parliament Street, Gurdwara Road, Delhi.

This Hindi feature film is being produced under the banner of VS Film Worldwide. Many dignitaries and celebrities were also present on this occasion. The teaser of the film was launched at the same place where a memorial has been built in the memory of those Sikhs. RJ Anurag Pandey hosted the event while in attendance bollywood actor were Ali Asgar, Deepak Kumar, Deepraj Rana, Sanjay Swaraj, Janhvi Vora, Gulshan Pandey, Sanjeev Jotangia, Divya Lakshmi, Pammi Bai (Punjabi Actor), Hobby Dhariwal, Raj Dhariwal and Tarun Madan. (Special Guest Panchkula) was seen.

Actor Ali Asgar said, “I came at the teaser launch like an actor, but upon witnessing the families and learning about their hardships, an immediate bond formed, and as a result, I have developed a heartfelt connection with the movie.”

Vikram Sandhu of VS Films is producing and directing this film, he said that even today I get goosebumps after listening to the riots of 84. I also belong to the Sikh community and my ancestors have also suffered that pain. I had thought long ago that one day I would show this truth on screen. Today I have started it with courage and courage.

Many dignitaries, celebrities and widows of those martyred in the riots attended. In this program, Vikram Sandhu honored the widows of those martyred in that incident by giving them shawls and kits.
