Rajasthan Man Arrested for Threatening Salman Khan in Mumbai Gunfire Incident
New Delhi: A recent shooting incident outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence has taken a serious turn with the Mumbai Crime Branch apprehending a 25-year-old man from Rajasthan. Identified as Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar from Bundi, Rajasthan, he stands accused of issuing death threats to the actor via a YouTube video.
The video, allegedly shared on the channel ‘Aare Chhodo Yaar’ linked to Goldy Brar, featured Gujar making explicit threats towards Salman Khan. His arrest came swiftly after a complaint was lodged regarding the video’s content, which reportedly demanded that Salman Khan apologize to the Bishnoi community.
In a transcript provided by the police, Gujar addressed his audience as “brothers,” expressing collective discontent towards the actor and criticizing Salman Khan’s perceived arrogance, dubbing him “Dabangg King Khan.” The video also hinted at a calculated plan and readiness to confront challenges posed by the actor’s security measures.
Gujar remains in police custody until June 18 as investigations into the incident progress. His arrest underscores the prompt action taken by law enforcement against threats targeting public figures, highlighting concerns over celebrity security and the legal ramifications of online threats.
