Rodic Consultants Receives FICCI’s Smart Urban Innovation Award for BHAVYA Smart Healthcare Project in Bihar

Ranchi: Rodic Consultants, a prominent engineering and digital infrastructure consulting firm, has been honored with the esteemed FICCI Smart Urban Innovation Award for its pioneering Smart Healthcare project in Bihar, known as BHAVYA. The award was presented by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) during a formal ceremony at the Federation House in New Delhi. This accolade underscores Rodic’s steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional and professional infrastructure solutions.

Rodic Consultants, serving as the Manager Service Provider (MSP) for the Bihar Healthcare Project (BHAVYA), collaborated with its technology partner to develop, design, and implement an integrated hospital information management system (HIMS) across 13,000 state-run health facilities. These facilities, ranging from district hospitals to health sub-centers, span all 38 districts of Bihar. The HIMS implementation, completed in May 2024, includes over 20 modules such as patient registration, OPD & IPD management, doctor scheduling, pharmacy, radiology, and lab information systems, all functioning seamlessly across the state.

The new HIMS platform, known as “BHAVYA,” integrates all legacy and standalone applications previously used by the state government, creating a unified digital health system for Bihar. Furthermore, a cutting-edge integrated control and command center, centrally located, monitors health indicators and facility operations. This ensures a shift from a government-centric approach to a citizen-centric model, enabling authorities to make proactive decisions in managing the state’s growing healthcare demands.
