Tata Motors Electrify 2024: Unveils a dynamic fleet of EVs

New Delhi: As 2023 approaches, Tata Motors is setting the stage for a stellar performance in electrification in the year ahead, with a focus on sustainable mobility and innovation. Rajkamal Narayanan’s latest insights reveal an interesting lineup, with electric vehicles (EVs) in the spotlight, set to reshape the automotive landscape.

Tata Harrier/Safari EV:

Tata Motors, riding on the success of the recent updates of Nexon, Harrier and Safari, is all set to electrify the road with the launch of electric versions of the popular Harrier and Safari SUVs. Sharing a common platform and engine, the electric variant is expected to be offered with state-of-the-art features, potentially offering a dual battery pack and an all-wheel-drive system similar to the Nexon EV.

Tata Punch EV:

Responding to the demands of the emerging market, Tata Motors revealed plans to electrify its second best-selling model, the Punch. Currently with an internal combustion engine under the hood of the Punch, a full-electric version is on the horizon, which is set to compete hard in the market against rivals like the Hyundai Exeter. Expected to share the battery pack of the Tigor, the Tata Punch EV promises an impressive 300 km range on a full charge.

Tata Curve:

Tata’s ambitious Curve concept, a striking design of which was showcased last year, is set to hit the production lines in April 2024 and is expected to launch in June. Loaded with design influences from the Nexon, Harrier and Safari, the Curve will be available in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric variants, offering consumers a versatile and eco-friendly option.

As Tata Motors moves into 2024, the promise of cutting-edge electric vehicles underlines its commitment towards a sustainable and exciting automotive future. Get ready for an exciting journey into the next era of mobility.
