Greater Noida: VidyaGyan, a leadership academy dedicated to nurturing rural talent in Uttar Pradesh, announced the outstanding CBSE Board exam results of its Grade XII students today. Out of 144 graduating students from its Bulandshahr and Sitapur campuses, 86 achieved impressive scores above 90%.
Arpit Baliyan from VidyaGyan, Bulandshahr, topped the Science stream with an exceptional 97.50%. Arpit also cleared the JEE Mains and NDA exams. Inspired by alumni like Capt Anuj Dhariwal, he is inclined towards joining the services. Known among peers as a problem-solver, Arpit has also been a mentor to his juniors.
Close behind, Amrita from VidyaGyan, Bulandshahr, and Ragini Tiwari from VidyaGyan, Sitapur, scored 97.25% in Science and Humanities, respectively. Amrita aims to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science, aspiring to become a software engineer. Despite her love for painting, Amrita chose computer science over fine arts programs like NID or NIFT.
This year’s results highlight VidyaGyan’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development for rural students. Earlier this year, Akash Verma from VidyaGyan, Sitapur, secured a full scholarship to Northwestern University in the USA, while Roshni Chaurasia earned a partial scholarship at Wesleyan University, USA.
VidyaGyan selects approximately 200 top-performing rural students annually from a pool of 250,000 applicants nationwide. These students come from families with an annual income of less than one lakh per annum. The Academy focuses on the all-round development of its students, investing in various programs that enhance both curricular and co-curricular activities.
Through these initiatives, VidyaGyan continues to empower rural students, enabling them to achieve remarkable academic success and personal growth. The Academy’s mission is to transform the lives of these students, providing them with opportunities that pave the way for a brighter future.
