What’s Coming at Google’s ‘Made by Google’ Event: Pixel 9 Series, Pixel Watch 3, and More
New Delhi: On August 14, Google’s “Made by Google” event is set to reveal an array of new products beyond the eagerly awaited Pixel 9 series. This year’s showcase will feature the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but there will also be other exciting announcements.
Pixel Watch 3
A major highlight will be the debut of the Pixel Watch 3, Google’s latest smartwatch. Building on the features of its predecessor, the Pixel Watch 3 is expected to come with the Snapdragon Wear 5100 chipset and a Cortex M33 co-processor, ensuring smooth performance. The watch will offer 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage, providing plenty of space for apps and data. Notable upgrades include a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits for a vibrant display. The Pixel Watch 3 will be available in two sizes—41mm and 45mm—priced at $349 and $399, respectively.
Pixel Buds Pro 2
Alongside the new smartwatch, Google is anticipated to unveil the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Leaks suggest that these next-generation earbuds will feature a redesigned look, including a new wingtip for improved fit and comfort. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are likely to come in four colors: Pink, Black, Green, and Greyish White. The charging case is expected to be larger than its predecessor, potentially offering enhanced battery life and longer usage between charges.
Android 15
The event will also mark the introduction of Android 15, the newest version of Google’s mobile operating system. Android 15 will be compatible with the Pixel 8, Pixel 7, Pixel 6 series, and A series models. This update will bring several new features, including Private Space, which allows users to lock apps with biometric security, a redesigned volume panel for better control, adaptive vibration settings, and improved battery life through an enhanced Doze mode.
As the event approaches, tech enthusiasts and Google fans are eagerly anticipating more details and official announcements.
