New Delhi: Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is poised for its debut in the Chinese market. The manufacturer recently unveiled details about the phone’s processor, and now, Xiaomi has disclosed the handset’s design, color choices, and highlighted some noteworthy features. Drawing inspiration from its flagship Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra models, the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is expected to incorporate certain features. The company has also announced the official launch date of the device.
In a Weibo post, Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is scheduled to launch in China on March 21 at 2 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. IST). It is touted to deliver “Pro Performance, Pro Imaging, and Pro Design.” Additionally, Xiaomi teased that the phone will be available in four color options, with three marketing names already confirmed – Breeze Blue, Soft Mist Pink, and Spring Field Green (translated from Chinese). The green variant of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is said to be inspired by the spring-themed works of French impressionist painter Oscar-Claude Monet and will feature a rear panel made of a combination of glass and faux leather.
In another announcement, Xiaomi hinted that the upcoming Civi 4 Pro will sport the same leather material found in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model and a curved display akin to the Xiaomi 14 Pro handset. The device will also boast a metallic middle frame. The Chinese tech giant also claims that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will be “light and thin” due to its “precise stacking of advanced technology” (translated from Chinese), with an estimated weight of 179.3g and thickness of 7.45mm. The phone is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s recently launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
Recently, a Xiaomi model with the model number 24053PY09I, rumored to be launched in India as the Xiaomi 14 Lite, appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site. The same model was speculated to launch in China as the Xiaomi Civi 4. Although the base Civi 4 model has not been officially confirmed by the company, it is possible that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro may debut in India under the rumored name Xiaomi 14 Lite.
