New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to unveil the Mahindra XUV 3OO, essentially a facelifted version of the XUV300, on April 29. This compact SUV segment is fiercely competitive, featuring popular models like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. To stand out in this crowded space, the Mahindra XUV 3OO promises to be a comprehensive package, offering a range of features, top-notch safety (already boasting a five-star safety rating), and multiple powertrain choices.

A new teaser reveals that the Mahindra XUV 3OO will introduce Adrenox Connect technology. Through the Adrenox Connect app, owners can remotely control the vehicle’s interior temperature—a convenient feature, especially during hot summers.

The updated Mahindra XUV 3OO showcases a redesigned front grille with vertically integrated LED headlamps featuring LED DRLs. It sports new connected LED taillamps and rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin boasts a revamped dashboard, a new touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument panel. Noteworthy features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a new steering wheel, front ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof—a segment-first addition.

The inclusion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) remains uncertain, with some reports hinting at possible Level-2 ADAS features. However, this information has not been independently verified.

Expect the Mahindra XUV 3OO to offer familiar engine choices from the XUV300 lineup, including a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol (110PS/200Nm), a 1.2-liter mStallion turbocharged petrol (130PS/230Nm), and a 1.5-liter diesel (117PS/300Nm). Transmission options will include 6-speed manual and automated manual transmissions (AMT) for the petrol and diesel engines, with a 6-speed manual gearbox for the turbocharged petrol variant.

Considering its features and diverse powertrain options, the Mahindra XUV 3OO is anticipated to be priced between Rs 8.50 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
