Rasna reinforces ties with Uttarakhand, debuts Himalayan Gulab Sharbat, Gulkand, and Gulab Chywanprash at Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit

New Delhi: At the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, Rasna introduces Rasna Himalayan Gulab Sharbat, Himalayan Gulkand and Himalayan Gulab Chywanprash. Emphasizing local ties, the products will feature raw materials like pure rose oil and rose water sourced from Uttarakhand’s valleys, reinforcing Rasna’s commitment to the state.

Rasna through its extensive manufacturing and marketing outreach with 12 factories in India and 1.6 million outlets coverage in India and availability in more than 60 countries will launch the product in India and abroad simultaneously, especially in Middle East where Indian rose products are already in demand. With a global demand for the product, Rasna aims to grow its presence through increased sourcing of local produce from the state. To further revenue generation for the state, Rasna also plans to launch Sandal Syrup and Turmeric Syrup based concentrate syrups, whose raw materials would also be sourced from the Valleys of Uttarakhand.

Rasna taps into Uttarakhand’s Damask Rose variety from the valley of flowers in Chamoli, renowned for its unique aroma. Utilizing innovative R&D, Rasna creates a therapeutic rose syrup with natural ingredients, offering antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and gut-cooling properties. The product reflects the region’s rich heritage and distinct taste.

This will immensely help the farmers of Uttarakhand by improving their income and getting better value for their crop.”

Capitalizing on the trend towards natural and ethnic products, Rasna anticipates substantial growth in the Indian concentrate syrup market, projected to reach a billion dollars by 2024 according to a Euromonitor Report. As a market leader, Rasna aims to enhance its presence in Uttarakhand with the launch of Rasna Himalayan Gulab Sharbat, available in two sizes—750 ml at Rs. 160 and 600 ml at Rs. 130. The product will be distributed across Rasna’s extensive network of 1.6 million outlets, utilizing 26 depots, 200 super stockists, 5000 stockists, and 900 sales force members.
